Birth Doula Services

Overall Services

  • I provide continuous, non-medical support during labor.

  • I do not replace your care provider or even your partner.

  • I can suggest different positions to help you be more comfortable while you labor.

  • I can help with decision making.

  • I can support your partner in supporting you.

  • I can help with emotional support for both you and your partner.

  • I can help you whether you plan an all natural birth, plan to induce, plan to schedule a cesarean.

  • I can support you wherever you choose to birth.

  • I am part of your birth team and am there for you!

  • 2-3  prenatal visits - we can get to know each other, work on your birth plan, go over and practice comfort measures, discuss questions and concerns.

  • I am available to you by phone, text, and email.

  • I will be on - call for you starting 2 weeks before your due date. Please call me when you believe that you are in labor.

  • 1 postpartum visit about 10 days after baby is born.

Cost

  • $600 for BIPOC and LGBTQ persons and any person who has trouble meeting basic needs

  • $800 for previous clients

  • $1000 for new clients

  • $1200 for clients further than 1 hour from Goshen, Indiana

  • 50% due at hiring, 50% due by 38 weeks.

Postpartum Doula Services

Overall Services

  • I can be available to you in your home as soon as you need me, for as long as you need support.

  • I try to work myself out of the job.

  • I will help with baby care-answering questions, finding resources, emotional support.

  • I will help with light household chores-laundry, dishes, pick-up, sweeping, some cooking.

  • I can help with older children-suggest activities to let parent(s) and baby rest, help them to learn about new babies and how they can help care for them.

  • I can help your partner: feel comfortable spending most time with birthing parent and baby, to feel comfortable going back to work, and provide emotional support.

Cost:

  • $30/hr for just postpartum, $25/hr for current birth clients, $20/hr for BIPOC and LGBTQ persons and any person who has trouble meeting basic needs

  • Scheduled at a minimum of 4 hours per visit

  • The minimum $100 fee must be paid in advance as a deposit. Additional hours are billed later.
